New report on how people find out about equipment to help them to live independently published today by the AT Alliance

The Assistive Technology (AT) Alliance today publishes a report “The AT Information Network: Mapping the Information Environment, the Challenges and Opportunities” that looks at how people find out about equipment for daily living (also known as “Assistive Technology”).

DLF relaunches DLF Data with new design and additional features

DLF announces Programme for Moving & Handling People 2011

Lottery funding announced for DLF's advice website 'Living made easy'

The Disabled Living Foundation (DLF) has been awarded funding from the Big Lottery Fund (BIG) towards its online advice and information portal, Living made easy (www.livingmadeeasy.org.uk). The website provides older and disabled people and their families and carers with expert, impartial information and advice on thousands of items of daily living equipment.

'Harry Potter' star Miriam Margolyes visits DLF’s Equipment Demonstration Centre

Award-winning actress Miriam Margolyes visited the offices of national charity the Disabled Living Foundation (DLF) last week to find out a bit more about its services and discover what gadgets and gizmos exist to help older and disabled people in their daily lives. The actress had first become aware of DLF's work when carrying out their 40th Anniversary Radio 4 Appeal last October.
 

DLF helps you get the most out of Naidex, the UK’s largest disability, rehabilitation and homecare exhibition

The Disabled Living Foundation (DLF) is pleased to announce it will once again act as the Information Point for Naidex 2010, the UK’s largest disability, rehabilitation and homecare exhibition taking place on 20-22nd April at the NEC Birmingham. DLF is a national charity that provides free, impartial advice and information about all types of daily living equipment for older and disabled people and their carers.

DLF is the UK’s leading source of impartial information and expert advice on equipment to help older and disabled people continue to live full and independent lives and stay in their own homes for as long as possible.
