DLF Training is CPD-accredited by the CPD Certification Service.

For experienced staff, this course should revise and build on existing skills to ensure staff are following safe systems of work. REBA, a system of postural analysis will be taught, allowing staff to assess their own strategies for assisting children to transfer, and group workshops will allow them to devise improved methods.

A mini-equipment exhibition may provide 'inspiration' for solving unusual problems, and suppliers will be able to assist with technical advice. Therapists may find this course useful when advising and delegating to parents and staff, as it covers the Professional Codes of Practice, including the recent COT guidance.
