Bournemouth local runs the London Marathon in support of the DLF

Image of Kate MoorsBournemouth local Kate Moors is running the 2008 London Marathon in support for the Disabled Living Foundation.

Kate has first hand experience of disability as several members of her family have been affected by disability. Her sister has Spina Bifida and her auntie multiple sclerosis. Kate’s grandmother also suffered had Parkinson’s disease and her other grandparents were helped by mobility equipment in their later years.

As a result Kate wanted to support a charity that helped a wide range of conditions. The DLF is the leading national provider for impartial information and advice on all kinds of disability equipment.

The DLF is delighted Kate has chosen to support the charity and wish her luck for the big day.

The Disabled Living Foundation (DLF) is a national charity that has been the leading provider of impartial advice and information on equipment for older and disabled people for nearly 40 years. DLF’s information is disseminated through a wide range of services:
