Moving and Handling: A Review of Current Practice

Based on the aims of Health and Safety Legislation and Manual Handling Operations Regulations (1992), this moving and hanlding training course is designed to update people's knowledge in the area of moving and handling. It covers the use of assessment to identify safe handling techniques and how to recognise, reduce and avoid risk of injury in practice. Included is a review of hoists, smaller handling equipment and new equipment.
