A course from the programme
If the course you require is already on the DLF Training programme, then you may commission the course as it stands, with the existing structure, content and learning outcomes as described on the appropriate course page. E.g. manual handling for carers.
A course of your own from the programme
On the other hand, you may wish to take a particular course as a starting point, using the basic structure but adding specific content and learning outcomes that are relevant to your organisation or department e.g. a trusted assessor course specific to a London borough's TCES requirements.
A course all of your own
Or you may find parts of different courses that you would like to blend together, like a shopping list, to provide the exact learning outcomes you need for your staff's development.

Fees per day
Irrespective of the course, DLF Training charges a discrete fee per trainer per day plus VAT at the current rate and travel expenses*. If our trainers require accommodation, we expect you to arrange this wherever possible according to your organisation's expenses and travel policy.
* In the event of your having no E&T policy, expenses will be claimed according to DLF's own policy.
Terms and conditions
If you would like to enquire about further savings via contract training, then please contact the department direct to discuss contract prices and possible discounts. However long or short the training, it is vital that you read and understand our terms and conditions , especially our cancellation policy, before you commit to an agreement with us.
Accredited courses
With a tailored training that carries accreditation,e.g.the trusted assessor pathway, we will presume that you wish your delegates to proceed to accreditation unless you inform us otherwise. You may choose whether your delegates go through the accreditation process or not, or whether only selected attendees will do so. The accreditation procedure involves submission of extra written work during and after the course and requires supervision commitment from local management.
Other courses
All DLF Training courses are structured according to the relevant and current professional guidance, national standards, and appropriate legislation where applicable. Commissioners should note that moving & handling (M&H) courses are not only constructed to the remit of the Interprofessional Curriculum but that intermediate and advanced M&H courses are led by a Registered Member of National Back Exchange. .
All courses are CPD registered and carry an attendance certificate.
