DLF helps you get the most out of Naidex, the UK’s largest disability, rehabilitation and homecare exhibition

26th February 2010
The Disabled Living Foundation (DLF) is pleased to announce it will once again act as the Information Point for Naidex 2010, the UK’s largest disability, rehabilitation and homecare exhibition taking place on 20-22nd April at the NEC Birmingham. DLF is a national charity that provides free, impartial advice and information about all types of daily living equipment for older and disabled people and their carers.
As the Information Point, DLF will provide factsheets and printouts from its comprehensive database of over 14,000 products to visitors looking for information on daily living equipment. In addition, DLF will direct attendees to relevant manufacturers and suppliers within the exhibition halls where products are being demonstrated. Located on your right as you enter the Hall after registration, DLF should be the first port of call to get the most out of your visit to Naidex 2010.
In addition to attracting over 300 exhibitors, the organisers of Naidex 2010 have introduced a number of new areas including a Communications Village, Sensory Garden and a Car Zone. The Communication Village will showcase the latest developments in assistive technology aimed at improving the lives of children and adults with communications difficulties. The Sensory Garden will feature natural planting, combined with interesting visual and textual displays, offering unique sounds, fragrances and tastes to appeal to all the senses and meet the needs of disabled people. Finally, the Car Zone, supported by Mobilise and Motability, will display a wide range of adapted vehicles and experts will be on hand to answer any questions visitors may have relating to motoring.
